As far as backless boosters go, this one is a really nice option since it features some premium features that lower priced models won’t have. This seat is very comfortable, keeps your child cool, and provides nice deep cup holders that prevent drinks from spilling in your car. We like that the seat is very stable and connects to the car nicely, as well as the ease of installation using the optional LATCH connectors. Though we don’t recommend purchasing a backless booster for your main car seat, this is a nice option for a grandparent or parents car that does not drive the child on lots or long car trips. Backless boosters, though crash tested, simply do not provide enough protection for children in severe auto accidents and we think that the more the protection the better for your most precious cargo.

For comfort for its passengers the Santa Fe seat is lined with energy absorbing AirTek foam which provides ultimate cushioning and increased air flow to keep cool, the seat base is now longer to provide proper leg support and cushioning for the legs. The angled and reinforced seat bottom prevents the seat from submarining and the rubber padding on the bottom of the seat prevents damage to the car’s interior. For kids the seat has 2 retractable cup holders that are extra deep to keep their drinks upright and prevents spills.
